The city of Morgan Hill is located in the south of Santa Clara. The city is named after Hiram Morgan Hill, who built a country retreat home there in 1884. The city is now home to the high-tech industries of the Silicon Valley. Morgan Hill enjoys a mild, Mediterranean climate throughout the year, with temperatures ranging from a maximum of 90.2F to a low of 33.6F. Morgan Hill is known for friendly people, natural beauty, and the wide range of parks and outdoor activities. The 2000 census figures indicate the population of Morgan Hill to be 33,556, with 10,846 households and 8,633 families.

 
      
The Morgan Hill Aquatics Center has a whole range of water activities and a good set of healthy programs.They provide a variety of water activities, like fitness-related events, indoor and outdoor lap swims, recreational swims, and individual and group swim lessons. There are also "Coed Aquatic Fitness Classes", Fluid Yoga, Deep H2O Dynamics, Shallow Tone, and Beginner Sculpt.
   
 
Join WERC to celebrate the first birthday of an abandoned baby great horned owl - LUNA. In April 2008 this baby owl was found lying on the ground in southern California. It was cared for at the Ojai Raptor Center.
 

This is a 14-foot-tall abstract public-art sculpture on the river side of Front Street, near the Cooper Street intersection. It is a great effort by the students of UCSC's Dee Hibbert-Jones, in conjunction with the Santa Cruz Public Arts Commission.
 
 
The Uesugi Farms Pumpkin Park is where you can learn more than you ever wanted to know about pumpkins, take a trip on the train to Morgania, meet scarecrows, and get the perfect pumpkin. Your kids will probably enjoy BOOTSIE THE BEE, finding their way through our corn maze, and learning about bees.
    
      
Coe Park is the largest state park in northern California. Hikers, mountain bikers, backpackers, equestrians, car campers, picnickers, photographers, and people who simply like to visit parks, will like Coe. Great place to watch the sunset.
 
 
Anderson Lake County Park is the site of Santa Clara County's largest reservoir, with a unique combination of recreational resources. Boat enthusiasts, bicyclists, equestrians, picnickers, and nature lovers tend to spend time at Anderson Lake County Park.
    
 
Morgan Hill Museum has artifacts and photographs that narrate the story of the city.
  
 
Located at Uesugi Farms, this place was once considered as a toxic wasteland, a secret military dumpsite discovered by a farmer while plowing. Rumours have spread that nocturnal mutant carnivores have been stalking the corn fields and attacking humans. Actually, this adventurous and thrilling place is filled with theater, stage shows, videos, live actors and animatronics. The watchword here is "Keep Away From the Creek".
    

A non-profit organization set up to provide educational scholarships to seniors in the Morgan Hill Unified School District. The festival theme is mushrooms, for this fund-raiser.

 
The 49th Annual Morgan Hill Spring Festival, called the Morgan Hill Haru Matsuri, will be held on the 19th of April, 2009 at the Morgan Hill Buddhist Community Center. There will be a display of Asian Crafts, and Cultural display by Asian Artists and Vendors. You can taste various exotic Asian food varieties and get to know about some traditional entertainment forms like Minyo, Martial Arts Demonstration etc.
